As an IoT and Smart Cities Solutions Development Intern at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact in the field of IoT and Smart Cities. Responsibilities:
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of IoT devices, sensors, and connectivity solutions to ensure their seamless integration into smart city infrastructure.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and create innovative IoT solutions that address specific challenges faced by cities, such as traffic management, waste management, energy efficiency, and public safety.
- Solution Management: Assist in the management of deployed IoT solutions, including monitoring their performance, troubleshooting issues, and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Visualization and Analysis: Utilize your skills in data visualization and high-end analysis to transform raw data from IoT devices into meaningful insights. Present these insights in visually compelling formats to enable effective decision-making.
Requirements:
- Technological Skills: Familiarity with IoT concepts and protocols, sensors, network protocols, and connectivity options. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau) would be advantageous.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify issues in complex systems. Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills are highly valued.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts and present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for IoT and Smart Cities: Genuine interest in the IoT industry, smart city solutions, and the potential of technology to positively impact urban environments.
Notes:
- This is a paid internship program, based out of Conure’s Suwanee, GA office with a duration of 6 months. This position may require occasional travel.
