Job Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our hardware testing team. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in electronics, computer science, or a related field, and will be responsible for conducting hands-on testing and evaluation of various hardware products to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Responsibilities and Duties:
– Perform detailed hardware testing including both functional and environmental tests.
– Document test results and provide detailed reports that enable the engineering team to understand and address any issues.
– Assist in the development and implementation of testing protocols and procedures.
– Use testing tools and equipment to diagnose issues and ensure hardware functionality.
– Participate in product development meetings, providing QA feedback to support the design and production processes.
– Maintain testing logs and databases for system tracking and compliance.
– Collaborate with other departments to improve product quality and resolve any customer complaints related to hardware.
Qualifications:
– Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
– Previous experience in hardware testing or a similar role preferred.
– Strong understanding of testing tools and diagnostic procedures.
– Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics.
– Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to handle and manipulate small hardware components and tools.
– Capable of performing repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
– Comfortable working in a lab environment, outdoor testing, potentially standing or sitting for extended periods.
– Must have a valid driving license
